Job description

Responsible for crafting kringle while supporting the baking team in achieving general production goals and standards. This position will work alongside various production team members to complete in general operations of the department, including working towards new initiatives and achieving production goals. Ultimately responsible for following the Kringle daily production guide daily to achieve production standards for Kringle while maintaining the highest level of quality. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, possess ability to fall into a rhythm with repetitive motion, passion for quality throughout entire Kringle crafting process, and ambition to work towards new initiatives while developing efficiencies. This is an active role, and requires the ability to comfortably stand, walk, bend, twist, and/or lift up to 20 pounds repetitively for extended periods of time throughout shift. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to form and shape products from the dough or batter, deposit into baking pan, or baking the shaped dough according to the specifications of the recipe.
  • Duties as assigned, including laying dough end to end on a production line, spraying kringle, or learning other areas of the team.
  • Work to optimize operational efficiencies while ensuring the company’s high-quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Adhere to the company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • Adhere to the company's HACCP and other food safety procedures.
  • Troubleshoot any issues and involve maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and available for use when needed.
  • Ensure accuracy filling daily orders and conducting quality checks.
  • Be willing to help other departments when in need to help carry out our mission on a daily basis.
  • Perform assigned start-up and end of day closing responsibilities for the Kringle Line.
  • Other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in Food Service and/or Manufacturing environment strongly desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work and collaborate with a team
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible based on business needs

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds throughout shift
  • Comfortable standing, lifting, and bending for the duration of an entire shift
  • Ability to complete repetitive motions throughout designated shift
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time throughout shift

Working conditions:

Incumbent must be able to work in an environment with changing temperatures from 50 degrees Fahrenheit to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Incumbent may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, loud equipment and machines, and other environmental hazards associated with a production or warehouse facility.
