Lyons Magnus is seeking a Kitter for its Beloit Facility. This is a Monday-Friday position from 6am-2:30pm.

Job Summary

Weigh and compile ingredients for production runs according to customer formulations. Document ingredient weights and usages for each batch during a production run

Essential Duties

• Must adhere to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies.
• Weigh out ingredients for current and future production needs.
• Accurately read batching sheets and prioritized weigh-out needs according to the customer and internal specifications.
• Accurately identify and record lot code, product, and other ingredient information.
• Using a forklift, retrieve product from the freezer or refrigerator and bring it to Blending as needed.
• Must maintain a clean working area and follow all GMPs
• Reporting safety or maintenance issues to your immediate supervisor or completing work order requests.
• This position works closely and often interchangeably with the Blending place. Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as requested.

Requirements:

• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Dependable
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• 1 to 3 years of knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred

Education, etc.

• High School or Equivalent
