Lyons Magnus is seeking General Labor at its Beloit Facility. This is a Monday-Friday position from 6:00 am-2:30 pm, with overtime on weekends as needed. This candidate will be responsible for various work at the floor level. Flexibility with scheduling is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform General Labor as needed, including but not limited to:
- pH testing
- Stacking pallets
- Facility cleaning
- Pulling samples
- Compliance with all GMP and safe food handling policies.
- Documenting ingredient additions, cleaning records, and lot numbers.
- You report any safety or maintenance issues to your immediate supervisor or by filling out work order requests.
- Active participation in the LMN safety program.
- Abides by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity, etc.
- Safe operation of the material handling equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Great attention to detail
- Flexible work schedule and the ability to work overtime and weekends.
- Dependable
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, i.e., Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc. a plus.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Mechanical inclination is a must.
Education or Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent required.
