This position starts at $20.75/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Set up equipment/work area in preparation for startup, and responsible for filling and making boxes, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for picking up empty boxes from the conveyor line and quickly packing with product.
- Responsible for hand making boxes as needed for certain products.
- Responsible for checking product going into boxes to assure all quality characteristics are met.
- Responsible for making decisions and acting on material to be used.
- Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
- Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
- Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
- Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
