1st Shift Expander Operator

How do you fit in?

• Operates the EPS Expanders (Hirsch 6000 & Hirsch 9000) for the first shift.
• Performs system and process audits on the EPS Expander as directed by the Production Manager or Plant Manager. Performs all preventive maintenance on associated equipment.
• Maintains water system to insure quality is verified and adherence to prescribed specifications.
• Identifies and controls nonconforming raw materials.
• Responsible for reporting food safety problems to management.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Densifies scrap modified and regular grade product to be recycled.

Do you have what it takes?

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic knowledge of computers and entry procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
