1st Shift Electrician (Industrial) Manufacturing Plant

We are seeking a qualified day shift Industrial Electrician to perform assembly, installation, repair, and diagnostic work for the facility; Position duties include (but are not limited to) installation and maintenance of equipment/machine power systems, inspect, troubleshoot, repair electrical issues;  components, systems and circuit continuity in electrical wiring; in adherence to local, state and federal safety codes.

Work Schedule:  Monday thru Friday - 5am to 5:30pm

Offering a $3,000.00 sign on bonus; must meet company retention guidelines to receive the full bonus.

Includes (but not limited to)

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, electronic equipment, appliances, fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Use test equipment and hand tools to diagnose system and component malfunctions, locate the root cause and perform repairs.
• Run wire to circuit breakers, transformers, other various components.
• Confirm system compatibility and safety of electrical systems and circuit wire continuity through use of test devices(ohmmeters, voltmeters, etc.) 
•  Must complete all required Environmental training specific to this job as needed.
• Any other task as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

To effectively perform in this position, qualified candidate must satisfactorily perform all essential duties. The requirements listed below are representative of required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED
•  2+ years of previous industrial electrical experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse, military, or related environment is highly preferred
• Ability to  interact with all levels of personnel, follow all work directives and safety procedures.
• Must work in a professional, respectful manner.
• Able to read policies and procedures; most of which are in English and communicate moderately in English.
