Job Summary


Automation Site Technician


Will be responsible for the following:

1) Point of contact for customers

2) Facilitate pm schedule

3) Facilitate work/Repair request

4) Facilitate teamwork schedule

5) Provide shift coverage

6) Willing to be On Call

6) Communicate PTO coverage plans with customer

7) Coordinate and drive warranty requests

8) Facilitate outside vendor work (PO process and billing)

9) Facilitate all outside of scope work

10) Parts Ordering and Inventory Management (5S Inventory Skills)

Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of Automation experience.
  • Strong Electrical troubleshooting skills, 480v,240v,24v, 48v.
  • Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic prints.
  • Strong Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic plumbing skills.
  • Basic handyman skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech/forklift technician/automation bots/technology savvy.
  • Must have experience with Electric Forklifts (Crown preferred).
  • Must understand how to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical components involving wiring diagrams and schematics, general abilities in laptop software to identify issues with automation equipment going offline.
  • Manufacturer Training available on specific equipment for technician hired. Looking for someone with a strong skillset who is willing to learn, self-motivated, goal oriented, punctual and professional, strong communication skills, solution-based mindset who is looking to grow.
  • Specialty tools will be provided but must have own hand tools and willing to purchase what is needed to be successful in the role.
  • Strong technology skills, strong office skills, self-motivated, organization skills, great communication skills, relationship building skills, team building skills, and works well under pressure in all situations.

Electrical - 480V, VFD’s, Relays, Motor Controls, electric motors, HMI’s, Contactors, Timers, Proximity Sensors/Switches, Electro-Mechanical background, Industrial Batteries. Autostore brand robot experience a plus!


Mechanical- Gear boxes, Chains, Sprockets, MHE Equipment/Electric Forklifts, Hydraulic systems, Dock and Door experience. Arc, Mig, and Tig welding experience preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
