Path Engineering LLC (a staffing agency with years of experience helping companies with high-volume hiring needs) is posting this job on behalf of Dexter Stamping.

1st Shift - $15.25

2nd Shift - $15.25 +$1.00 shift differential

10 hour shifts

Mon-Thur with overtime as required.

**Summary: **Provide support to Dexter Stamping Company through the effective manufacture of quality parts to meet customer delivery schedules.

**Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities **include the following:

  1. Daily visual maintenance inspection of machine, work station and supplies; assist in die set and pull operations; observe machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction; perform minor machine maintenance; and mix/use correct oil.
  2. Manufacture quality product to meet production schedule quantities and dates and audit parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are being met.
  3. Make sure quality check sheets are proper gages are at workstation. Make sure all paperwork, pull/setup sheet, routing, labels and quality documents are filled out properly and turned in
  4. Maintain clean, safe, well-organized workstation and surrounding area.
  5. Perform other duties and projects as required by the Production Supervisor.
  6. Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures, including environmental and quality standards.

  3. Works under the supervision of the Press Room Supervisor.
  4. Is skillful in the operation of typically used related tools, materials, and equipment.

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 1-year manufacturing experience.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are

functions of this job.

  4. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to: use both hands, talk, hear and see.
  5. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
