CNC Milling Machinist - Set Up Operators

1st & 2nd M-F $20-$25 based on experience & shift

Position: CNC Milling-Set Up Machinist

Location: Waukesha, WI

Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00/hour

Schedule/Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri (7:00am-3:30pm)

2nd shift Mon - Thu (3:00pm-2:00am)

Brief Job Description: Set up and operate lathes under minimal supervision. Current lathes include CTX400 Lathe, CTX Beta800V3 Lathe, Citizen A2- Swiss machine, and Haas ST10 Lathe. Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to ISO standards. Inspect the first piece and in-process pieces to ensure parts are to specification or drawing. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; monitoring tool life; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
