About the Role
The Experience Design (XD) Engineering team is looking for an Android engineer to help drive our prototypes and UI component libraries forward. This role is to support our Entertainment vertical.
About the Team
The XD Engineering team bridges the gap between design and development.
• Work across all verticals
• Utilize same code frameworks as product
• Vet and iterate design decisions
• Create tangible prototypes for leadership
• Solve edge-cases before handing to production
• Build internal tools to increase XD productivity
• Build for user testing to improve products
• Contribute code to make user experience a priority
We build experiences and develop with a design agenda. Our goal is to create beautiful and intuitive products that put the user journey first. The team can iterate on the future or deliver in product.
Responsibilities
• Being able to take direction from project lead
• Ability to work solo or with a team
• Collaborating with designers
• Developing beautiful and intuitive experiences that can be used for:
o Vetting design decisions
o User research and testing
o Executive demos
Requirements
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 1+ years of Android app development experience
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Proven ability to collaborate and iterate with UI/UX product designers
• Past experience working with Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop files
• Passion for design and attention to detail
• Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A self-starter, looking to help out
• Highly adaptable

Focus more on Design side vs JetPack Compose experience is preference
Doing Web and TV and variety of stuff
Kotlin or JetPack Compose as well

Building out component libraries to authenticate
