0802 - STRUCTURAL PLANT - STRIPPING LABOR

Job Summary
Clean and ready stripping hardware to ensure a safe and efficient pull of the panels. Remove concrete panels from production area using the safest and most efficient mean possible. 
Ensure that all nails are removed from wood forms and that all debris is cleaned from each panel after the stripping process. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Check for removal of rails, bullheads and kickers prior to stripping panel. 
2. Ensure that all nails are removed from mold material. 
3. Dull edges of concrete using a hand stone before stripping panels. 
4. Ensure that all rigging is inspected prior to being used. 

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Assist with clean-up of production area after stripping process is completed. 
2. Assist with preparing panels for final finishing in the yard. 
3. Assist with special projects as directed by supervision. 
4. Complete all tasks that are assigned by supervisor in the safest and most efficient means possible

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor working conditions
• Exposed to adverse weather conditions
• Exposed to suspended loads and overhead obstructions
• Exposed to machine noise associated with cranes and heavy equipment. 
• Exposed to dust associated with wood working, concrete products, and concrete repair. 

Education/Experience/Skill Qualifications 

• High School education required. 
• Good Communication skills required. (both oral and written) 
• Ability to work in a team environment. 
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision. 
• Ability to let and carry 50LBS for extended amount of time. 

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, twist, and walk, must be able to use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel squat or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual, physical labor is required for this position.
