JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION PURPOSE: We are looking for a fearless and accountable Starbucks Asst. Team Lead who is positive and passionate! The Starbucks Asst. Team Lead creates the Starbucks Experience for Bashas' customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. A Starbucks Asst. Team Lead is a responsible team player and always ready to learn. A Starbucks Asst. Team Lead can work at a fast pace, has a keen eye for detail, and will provide a memorable experience for all our customers!
Responsibilities: A Starbucks Asst. Team Lead is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
A Starbucks Asst. Team Lead responsibilities include:
- Observe and support all store rules and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, heath department and weights and measures requirements.
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a "customer comes first" attitude and connecting with the customer. Discover and respond to customer needs.
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and the mission of both Bashas' and Starbucks. Maintain a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unusual events to maintain a clean and comfortable store environment.
- Anticipate customer and store needs.
- Follow Bashas' operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all members.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that members can locate inventory and product as needed.
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments.
- Assist with new member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

- Skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
- Ability to work independently, effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written directions
- Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy
- MUST BE 18 years of age
Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:
Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
Salary Ranges:
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.
Maximum Pay Rate: $16.10/Hr.
