Fern Ridge School District is seeking candidates for a Special Education Teacher. This position will range from .50 FTE to 1.0 FTE
Qualifications: The successful candidate(s) will hold the appropriate license and endorsement(s) in the State of Oregon and demonstrate knowledge of best practices in teaching Special Education students.
Responsibilities: Work towards creating a vibrant learning community for our highest need students. Implement state standards and provide instruction that promotes all skill development, knowledge and reasoning. Use a variety of assessments to inform instruction and create an environment that maximizes student learning. Manage and write all Special Education paperwork (IEP, evaluation, and related documentation). Model and teach respect with an awareness of diversity and perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing excellence for every student so that each will reach their greatest potential.
