About this Position:
The role of a logistics yard truck switcher is to operate the yard truck and execute timely trailer moves in and out of dock doors for production demands and maintain trailer organization within the factory yard.

Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of over the road experience or 1 year of yard switcher experience
Required Education:
High School Diploma / GED equivalent
Current up to date CDL preferred but not required

About this Position:
The role of a logistics yard truck switcher is to operate the yard truck and execute timely trailer moves in and out of dock doors for production demands and maintain trailer organization within the factory yard.
Responsibilities include:
- Execute trailer moves within yard for production demands
- Maintain trailer organization within the yard
- Conduct daily checks on yard trucks and trailers on yard for maintenance purposes and report any damages to team coordinator
- Assist outside drivers with trailer drops and delivery/ pickup locations
- Call in full recyclable trailers to have them picked up
Who we are seeking:
Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of over the road experience or 1 year of yard switcher experience
Required Education:
High School Diploma / GED equivalent
Current up to date CDL preferred but not required
Other job specific skills:
- Good written and verbal skills
Additional Position Factors:
- Work primarily in yard truck, will need to get in and out at high frequencies throughout the day
- Must be able to operate a yard truck (refill fuel/ def fluids)
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions (heat, rain, sleet, snow, etc.)
- Overtime: overtime expected based on department demands/ responsibilities (daily and weekends as needed based on production requirements)
- Must be able to support other projects as needed.
