Yard Specialist

Job description

National Trench Safety (NTS) is a rapidly growing, financially strong company involved in the rental and sales of shoring equipment and traffic control products. We are looking for a yard laborer for our rental yard and to support the team at our Tampa, FL Branch operation.

Read a tape measure, handle cut lists

Operate a forklift, move equipment and raw material in and out of weld bays

Daily forklift and overhead crane inspections

Communicate and assist welders

Load and unload trucks

Keep raw material racks and damaged equipment organized

Assist in daily supply inventory

General Laborer Qualifications: Organizational skills, certified Forklift operator, common sense, decision-making/problem-solving ability, lift up to 50 lbs., a valid driver’s license, read/write English, good verbal/written communication skills, good attendance, bilingual helpful, safety-conscious, able to work overtime as needed.

Experience: Certified forklift training experiences are a plus. Will train the right candidate.
