Worship Leader

About us

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing worship experiences, supporting ministry events, and contributing to Tindley’s overall worship infrastructure and media strategy. The mission of this role is to support, encourage, and implement Tindley’s philosophy which is to Inspire, Connect, & Equip for discipling people virtually and in person through the arts dept. .

```Duties```
- Lead and facilitate worship services, including selecting and arranging music, leading the congregation in singing, and coordinating with other musicians and vocalists.

- Contemporary Christian Music & Gospel
- Plan and organize rehearsals for the worship team, ensuring that all members are prepared and equipped to lead worship effectively.
- Collaborate with the pastor and other church leaders to create a cohesive worship experience that aligns with the overall vision and theme of the church.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the worship team, including mentoring and developing team members in their musical and spiritual growth.
- Serve as a resource for the congregation, educating them on the purpose and significance of worship, and encouraging their active participation.

```Requirements```

-You are a born-again believer in Christ, are passionate and knowledgeable on God’s word and believe the Bible is the absolute truth and guide to being saved and living more like Jesus Every Day and Every Way
- Strong musical abilities, including proficiency in playing an instrument (e.g., guitar, piano) and leading congregational singing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, with the ability to effectively engage and connect with a diverse congregation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of musicians and vocalists.
- A deep understanding of worship theology and the ability to incorporate biblical principles into worship services.
- A heart for worship. We believe Worship is equally as important as all the components in our church.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week

Schedule:

• Holidays
• Weekends only
