Worship Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Worship Leader to join our team. As a Worship Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading our congregation in worship through music and song. You will have the opportunity to create an atmosphere of worship that encourages spiritual growth and connection with God.

Duties:

- Lead and coordinate worship services, including selecting appropriate songs, creating setlists, and arranging musical elements
- Lead rehearsals with the worship team to ensure a high level of musical excellence
- Engage and connect with the congregation during worship services, encouraging active participation
- Collaborate with other church leaders to plan and execute special events and services
- Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the worship team, helping them grow in their musical abilities and spiritual journey
- Communicate effectively with the sound team, ensuring proper sound balance and quality during services
- Educate the congregation about the importance of worship and its role in spiritual development

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Worship Leader or similar role
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Proficient in playing at least one musical instrument (e.g., guitar, piano, )
- Excellent vocal skills with the ability to lead congregational singing
- Knowledge of a wide range of worship songs across different genres
- Understanding of sound systems and equipment used in a worship setting
- Ability to adapt to different worship styles and preferences

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
