Workers Compensation Defense - Junior Associate Attorney - 100% remote

We are a growing California Workers’ Compensation defense firm searching for a fully remote Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney responsible for handling all aspects of workers’ compensation cases from discovery to settlement or trial. Our firm focuses on client satisfaction, open communication, early resolutions, and creative litigation solutions. In addition, we have low monthly billing requirements and keep our cases low to focus on high quality case handling and promote a positive work-life balance.

Newly licensed attorneys encouraged to apply! We provide hands-on training and support to help new attorneys master the California Workers’ Compensation system. Ideal candidates should have strong legal knowledge, excellent communication skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities:

-Handling all aspects of a Workers’ Compensation case from inception to resolution: focusing on early resolution and creative solutions.

-Review of new claim materials and provide claim handling recommendations, action plans, case exposure, and legal defenses.

-Ability to quickly analyze new information and reporting and apply to it a well-rounded knowledge of Workers’ Compensation law.

-Work closely and collaboratively with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure effective claim handling.

-Maintain prompt communication and professional relationships with external and internal contacts.

Preferred Qualifications:

-California Bar License (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
