Job Description
The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and providing a safe working environment. This person acts as a liaison between clients and managers when the manager is not present.
- Oversee all assigned duties/task per facility scope of work
- Encourage, redirect, correct, and document employee performance as appropriate
- Train employees into specialized areas and periodic assignments; document training
- Participate in all OSHA, Company, Customer and Site-Specific Safety Guidelines and Processes
- Prepare Confined Space Permits; initiate and confirm Lock-Out-Tag-Out of equipment
- Track all work and provide documentation as required; prepare timekeeping and EOS reports
- Conduct Quality Assurance audit and ensure corrective measures are implemented for all deficiencies
- Stock and maintain janitor and industrial closets, supply rooms; facilitate supply orders
- Maintain a safe work environment and immediately report any safety risks or hazards
- Monitor building security, facilitate any site-specific safety protocol
- Conduct hiring interviews as needed
- Monitor inventory and facilitate repairs to all assigned equipment and required tools.
- Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all assigned motorized equipment
Skills and Abilities
- Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high-level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to attend training related to industry practices and procedures
- Works well with a diverse team
- Must be mechanically inclined and possess a strong safety orientation
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Some computer skills are required
- Some experience with performing administrative tasks is required
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
- Repeat the same movements
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
