Pridestaff is currently seeking a Warehouse/Flatbed Forklift Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Dimas, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
- Pay Rate: $21
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm or 7am start; Over time and extended hours maybe necessary based on department needs.
Job Duties: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing an array of duties for the shipping and receiving department. Working in a fast-paced environment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure shipments get out on time. Prepares orders by picking and packaging materials from stock according to schedule. Processes receiving by unloading material/inventory to the correct stock area or departments.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Packaging, labeling, and building pallets for orders.
- Filling out paper working, marking shipments, and cross-checking paperwork.
- Loading staged orders and unloading trailers/flatbeds with forklift. May be on forklift for 10% of the day
- Use of different types of machines that require manual dexterity such as shrink wrap machine, hand tools, scale, miter saw, strapping machine, and other tools as may needed.
- Keeping inventory stock area clean and organized during the daily job functions.
- Housekeeping, disposing of trash, sweeping, organizing, and other clean up duties.
- Receiving of inventory material properly documenting, storing in correct stock area, and or departments
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months recent experience on a Sit-Down Forklift and Must have experience loading both a Flatbed and Enclosed trailers.
- Must be capable of bending, stooping, lifting 40-60 lbs., standing, or sitting for long periods of time.
- Must be capable of reading tape measure and gauges.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
