The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for supporting the Breezeway and Warehouse needs at our South Plainfield, NJ facility. The Warehouse Team Member will be a valued partner with our internal and external customers and expected to exemplify Viant's Mission: to partner and innovate with our internal and external customers to provide the highest quality, life-enhancing medical devices in the world. Additionally, the Warehouse Team Member will be visible representative of Viant's Vision in being the medical device industry's most trusted design and manufacturing services partner.

What you'll be doing:

• Scan, box and label product that has been approved by Quality; perform transactions in ERP system.
• Create boxes for packaging product.
• Move packaged product from Breezeway to Finished Goods Warehouse.
• Ensure manufacturing has proper materials and supplies required for molding and assembly.
• Changing over of material dryers.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying items received and/or shipped.
• Remove scrap bins from manufacturing floor.
• Drives the company truck between 6 Century Road location and Tool Room location, and other locations as necessary.
• Obtain and maintain internal forklift certification.
• Drives the forklift and pallet jack.
• Actively support organizational goals and objectives.
• Participate in team projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication skills
• Organized and able to manage priorities
• Able to work in a team environment
• Reliable and able to work assigned shift and schedule
• Able to understand, follow verbal and written instruction in basic English

EDUCATION:
HS diploma, GED or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 75
• pounds.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. to a height of 6 feet.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and turning.
• Moderate amounts of overhead lifting.
• Frequent amounts of finger dexterity and significant use of hands.
• Ability to climb and work on ladders. Must be able to perform
• work above shoulder height.
• Must be able to wear required PPE including but not limited to safety shoes.
• Must be able to work and keep up with the fast pace environment
• and complete duties in a timely and accurate manner
• Work requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time and frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Significant amounts of bending, lifting, twisting, standing,
• sitting, pushing, pulling, stacking, and significant use of hands.

CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
The Warehouse Team Member responsibilities are performed in the Breezeway & in the warehouse of a manufacturing plant that can be hot in summer, cold in winter, hazardous, noisy, and dusty. The worker may be subject to:

• Inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change
• Noise: Sufficient noise to cause a worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise
• Vibration: Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body
• Hazards: A variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemical
