Warehouse Quality Technician

Warehouse Quality Technician
Working under the direction of the Quality Compliance Director, the Warehouse Quality Technician will understand quality issues related to warehouse activities, service complaints and product returns. The employee will conduct bin audits to verify inventory accuracy. Additionally, the employee will be responsible for overseeing and supporting product quality systems and documentation related to warehouse facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete daily investigations of incoming complaints for service cases including warehouse, service, and freight issues
- Support monthly trending as needed to identify trends in service case issues
- Oversee Returns process and personnel to ensure returns are processed correctly and in a timely manner, including correct storage and disposition of returned product
- Execute Nonconforming Material process including product inspections, rework management and quarantine holds
- Maintain Quality Systems documentation and procedures for the warehouses including equipment maintenance, calibrations, and facility environmental compliance, including support of Internal and External audits
- Conducts bin audits to count and verify inventory accuracy
- Assist with other quality/regulatory activities, as assigned
- Maintains Quality/Returns area within the Warehouse with support of Returns Processor
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3 years of related work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Salesforce or other web-based apps with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail and Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a strong contributor in a cross functional team environment
