About the Opportunity:
∙ Job Title:Warehouse Materials Manager
∙ Pay: $22/Hour
∙ Location: Shakopee, MN
∙ Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM with optional O/T
Daily functions:
- Responsible for the direct review and receiving all incoming material.
- Conduct daily stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in system to maintain inventory control and reconciliation.
- Utilize computer and iPad to manage accurate inventory.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure that deliveries are on schedule and getting checked accordingly.
- Pick materials for upcoming projects.
- Assume responsibility for effective communication, coordination and working relationship between associates and management.
- Leading by example to ensure that procedures are followed by warehouse staff.
Desired qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous forklift certification at another company preferred.
- Safely operate a stand-up forklift
- 3 years of warehouse experience- management experience not required but is a plus.
- Willingness to stay to get the job done.
- Reliability to commute to Shakopee every day.
- Ability to identify problems and accurately communicate them to management.
Physical requirements:
- Lifting 50-60lbs
- Standing for long durations of time
- Physical work, physically fit
