Job Title:Loss Prevention Associate
Reports to: Supply Chain Loss Prevention and Safety Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor all activities within the scope of Loss Prevention and Safety at the Distribution Center facilities.
• Responsible for screening Teammates entering and exiting the building.
• Maintain all site-required documentation related to safety issues, i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs.
• Conduct Loss Prevention and Safety audits both inside and outside of the facility.
• Responds to fire and burglar alarms and takes appropriate action.
• Monitors and screens entering and exiting Distribution Center associates.
• Provides prompt, friendly service to visitors and associates.
• Documents and submits daily incident logs.
• Partner with Human Resources and Safety teams to respond effectively to internal and external threats, workplace violence, and crisis situations in which emergency response is required
• Learns basic operations of the Distribution Center.
• Maintains knowledge of current company policies and procedures.
• Communicates violations of policy and procedures to Loss Prevention management.
• Tours the distribution center as assigned maintaining a Loss Prevention presence in the distribution center environment.
• Required to learn company safety rules.

Job Specifications and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor in tense and/or stressful situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with associates at various levels within the company.
• Self-motivated to work individually or in a team.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills. Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, feel, handle, and use repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers); frequently stoop, crouch, use fingers, grasp, push, pull; occasionally required to climb, balance, and run
• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in a variety of conditions/environments.
