S&S Worldwide, Inc. the premier roller coaster and high thrill ride manufacturer in the United States is looking for the right individual that is highly organized and has great attention to details to become our Warehouse/Inventory Generalist. Job Summary
The Warehouse Generalist will help in any area of the warehouse where there is a need. They will be a backup for warehouse team members when they are on vacation, sick, training, etc. They will need to have a working knowledge of receiving, kitting, rides parts packaging, shipping/logistics coordination (domestic and international), and inventory control. The Warehouse Generalist will need to be familiar with ERP systems. They will make deliveries and pick-ups to/from vendors. In addition to providing support where needed, the Warehouse Generalist will look for, suggest, and implement process improvements that will make the warehouse more efficient and cost effective
Responsibilities
Receiving:
Process all inbound deliveries including UPS/FedEx, LTL, local deliveries (including vendor deliveries
Maintain an efficient movement and warehousing of parts between departments within the company. This includes the movement of inventory, raw goods, work-in-process, and finished product
The use of equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, and occasionally cranes will be utilized in the daily duties of these tasks
Kitting: Pull parts from designated hold areas to fulfill project job orders
Using engineering drawings, check hold areas for job orders to see which parts are missing for fulfillment of the BOM
Rides Parts Packaging: Operate overhead cranes or forklift as required to perform job
Ensure all parts and other amusement ride components are accounted for based on order request and that they are packaged for a safe delivery
Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions and procedures required by S&S and the customer
Shipping/Logistics: Ship all domestic shipments over 150 lbs. and all LTL and small parcel international shipments
Provide all customs clearance documents for LTL shipments and keep packages moving internationally
Coordinate pickups from international and domestic EX-Works vendors
Coordinate with freight forwarders on all FTL/ containers for jobs
Assess and resolve issues relating to transportation, customer problems, import and export, and logistics issues
Provide comprehensive logistical support daily for all outbound shipments
Inventory Control: Perform inventory audits daily, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually
Research inventory overages and shortages and correct them
Use S&S's ERP system to accurately reflect inventory level
Driving: Make daily deliveries and pick-ups to and from our vendors
Do the long distance deliveries and pick-ups to Ogden/Salt Lake City/Provo areas when needed.

Requirements
Specific: Good understanding of inventory control systems
A working knowledge of all warehouse duties and responsibilities.
Basic math skills
Organized and able to work with minimum supervision
Good time management and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
DOT Medical Certification (DOT Card)
General: Good communications ability - must be able to hear and to communicate verbally.
Performs work while standing (usually), bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or occasionally in high positions.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Proven attention to detail, solid work ethic, and positive work attendance history
Exhibit acceptable interpersonal behavior when interacting with colleagues.
