Warehouse Associate

Allied Wire and Cable, a GCG company, is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team! If you are looking to take the next step in your career and gain hands on experience with an industry leader, we may have the perfect job for you!

Location: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville PA 19426

Pay rate: $17/hr

What you'll do

• Daily set-up and operation of assigned equipment 
• Monitor tool kit and ensuring all pieces are present and accounted for 
• Running test spool daily to ensure accurate calibration of footage counter 
• Working on orders in the appropriate order of priority 
• Notify Manager of any material discrepancies, unclear comments, maintenance issues, etc. 
• Strive to hit daily footage, ticket and cut benchmarks 
• Operate hand-held scan gun to scan spools to appropriate location 
• Sweeping floors, wiping scrap off machinery, throwing trash away, clearing scrap wire away
• Additional duties as assigned 

What you'll bring

• High School diploma (preferred)
• Attention to detail 
• Basic math and computer skills 
• The ability to read communication, work tickets, emails, memos, etc. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication 
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
