Warehouse Associate

Family-owned and operated wine & spirits wholesaler, M.S. Walker, is looking for Warehouse Workers 2nd and 3rd shifts. This position is eligible for full time union benefits and a $500 bonus after 60 days of service!

Shift: 2nd: Mon - Thurs 2:00 pm - 12:00 am; 3rd: Mon – Thurs 8:30 pm to 6:30 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick product from warehouse shelves by hand or with a forklift
• Unload trucks and move product throughout the warehouse using a forklift or electric pallet jack
• Load trucks with picked product in efficient manner to be sent out for delivery
• Take and understand verbal direction from management while performing tasks in a productive manner
• Communicate with co-workers and management in an effective and positive manner
• Work in a safe and efficient manner adhering to OSHA compliant standards and Federal/State regulations
• Comply with M.S Walker, Inc. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards

Requirements

• Working in a warehouse environment, and safely and effectively operating warehouse equipment (Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks) preferred; will train for the right candidates!
• Ability to recognize and distinguish product, both visually and in writing
• Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Long periods of walking, standing, bending and heavy lifting
  • Ability to lift single cases weighing up to 45 lbs. repeatedly and for long durations of time
• Dependable and work in team environment
