JOB OVERVIEW:
The WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / FORKLIFT OPERATOR will be part of a small team that will open and operate our new 8,000 SF warehouse in Augusta. This is a ground floor opportunity that will allow you to be involved from the very beginning in many more activities of running the day-to-day business than a typical warehouse job! In addition to the usual material handling and inventory management activities, this person will assign work orders to our subcontracted flooring installers, load material for customer orders onto the subcontractors' vehicles, process paperwork and perform data entry into our computer system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and process flooring products by unloading trucks
- Measure, cut and label and stack flooring products for each customer order
- Load subcontractor vehicles with material and supplies for customer orders
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventory, and other inventory management activities
- Occasionally deliver flooring material to subcontractors at customer sites, if needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Dispatch work orders to subcontractors
- Daily processing of paperwork, including some data entry
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Detail oriented, organized, easily able to juggle changing priorities
- 2+ years of prior warehouse job experience
- 2+ years of forklift experience
- Ability to perform basic math functions in order to measure products
- 2+ years of inventory, cycle counts, receiving and related experience
- Ability to lift and carry products that weigh 50 to 75 lbs. on a repetitive basis
