Position Description

The Warehouse Administration Analyst supports the business by ensuring the inventories of all finished goods and rental pallets stored at our forward warehouses are up to date and accurate as well as monitoring processes and procedures to find efficiencies. The Analyst ensures agreed upon rates are paid by reviewing and processing warehouse invoices. This position also is the primary contact for inventory matters between Sun-Maid and our forward warehouses.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Monthly or Bi-Monthly inventory reconciliation of assigned warehouses.

• Processing warehouse invoices (Recurring Storage, OB Handling, IB Handling, Misc.).

• Maintain accurate inventories of rental pallets (CHEP and IGPS) thru periodic reconciliation, maintaining rental pallet info at the sold to level and monitoring pallet exceptions.

• Process rental pallet invoices.

• Prepare yearly settlement statements for our warehouses based on yearly physical inventories.

• Investigate and process failed 944's and 945's.

• Prepare monthly reports: Warehouse Accruals, Warehouse Pallet Levels, aging inventory and other reporting as needed.

• Monitor Tranzact for invoice processing issues.

• Assist customer service with inventory related issues and customer credits as needed.

Primary Objectives

• Minimize financial loss to Sun-Maid by maintaining accurate inventories and invoice processing.

• Maintain solid relationships with our partners and help manage communications between internal & external sources.

• Support internal and external stakeholders.

• Keep the Warehouse Administration Manager informed of pertinent information & issues.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office suite. Knowledge of QAD (or like ERP) is a plus.

• Ability to multi-task and monitor situations at multiple warehouses simultaneously.

• Self-Starter and able to work independently and understands what issues should be brought to management's attention.

• Detail oriented.

Education and Experience

• College degree preferred.

• Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, or general logistics preferred.

• Good understanding of Excel and experience dealing with 3rd party web portals for information and investigation.

• Understanding of general accounting practices.

Salary Description

$25.00 - $30.00/hr
