Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, preparing and serving beverages in a timely manner
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales and enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash drawer
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to provide recommendations to guests
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or similar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service industry
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective location)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
