Job Summary and Qualifications

The VP CV Services is responsible for leadership, successful operations, growth and quality of Cardiovascular, Pulmonary & Thoracic (CVPT) Services for Trident Health System. This includes Trident Medical Center, Summerville Medical Center and Colleton Medical Center. Additional responsibilities include: Facilitates integration and teamwork of all Cardiovascular, Pulmonary & Thoracic (CVPT) Departments for optimal care of patients. The VP also works in collaboration with Administrative staff and CVPT Service Medical Directors to ensure the highest quality outcomes which meet regulatory requirements and guidelines. The position will serve as an administrative contact to facilitate quality outcomes, positive physician and employee relationships, and growth of profitable services within the CVPT patient populations. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the Admin Dir develops subspecialty specific governance, strategic and tactical plans that support overall organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree preferred
• A current BLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) is preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation is preferred
• 5+ years of applicable experience required
• Recent and progressive leadership experience in service line business planning, strategic planning/marketing development with governance management for the CVPT related patient populations, along with matrix reporting structure preferred.
