Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Expertise is sought primarily to support the Nuveen Private Placements business. The Nuveen Private Placements business is part of Nuveen's Equities and Fixed Income division, which manages a diverse range of investments for a wide range of clients, including private and public credit and equities strategies. Specifically, the candidate should have expertise primarily in private fixed income investments, with a particular focus on asset-backed securities, project finance transactions and/or investment grade private placements. Expertise in restructurings, workouts and bankruptcies would also be a plus.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
5 years' experience advising clients in, but not limited to, fixed income investments (including asset-backed securities, project finance transactions and/or investment grade private placements).
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:
- Asset-backed securities
- Project finance transactions
- Investment grade private placements
- Restructurings, workouts and bankruptcies
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and member in good standing of a state bar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills

Base Pay Range: $157,500/yr. - $272,300/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
