Position Summary
The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology seeks a full-time visiting Research Specialist to contribute to the delivery of research projects, including the design, execution, analysis and interpretation of experiments. They will be involved in cell culture experiments, with an emphasis on recombinant virus-based manipulation of myofilament proteins.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry or related field required. Master's degree in science preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
- Proficient in specific lab research techniques.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attentional to detail is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C. elegans and/or human cell culture techniques highly preferred.
