We are hiring for this new role targeting start date in March and April 2024. We will have part time positions:
.4 = 4 shifts (32 hours) in a 2 week pay period
.6 = 6 shifts *48 hours )in a 2 week pay period. a .6 position makes you eligible for benefits.
8 hour shifts 7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a
Prefer candidates who are interested in a part time job rather than a 2nd job and cannot alter shift times. Must have availability during the week and a weekend and holiday rotation.
Provides remote video supervision to assigned patients. Acts to ensure patient safety through continual virtual surveillance and verbal redirection. Performs basic activities for which competence is demonstrated through the Virtual Sitter checklist.
This role requires a high level of integrity and an attention to detail. Prefer candidates with some experience working in the healthcare or patient care setting.
High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
Familiarity with computer/keyboard
Effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team.
Rudimentary assessment and analytical skills in order to perform basic patient observations.
Functional sight, hearing and speech. Ability to sit and stay alert for prolonged periods of time.
