The purpose of this position is to oversee video production services across all corporate campuses. Support and assist supervising producers and above managers in all production related tasks. Produces a variety of videos to internal and external audiences, and manages the process for quality and efficiency. Responsible for managing and overseeing tasks assigned to associate producers, production coordinators, and production assistants.
Essential Functions
1. Create, produce, and present original and creative video content and concepts, for a variety of projects including communications and announcements, external promotions, social media, training, recruiting, and other informational/instructional company-wide needs
2. Work individually, or with a team (staff or freelance), to produce short and long-form video projects, overseeing all aspects of production from concept to completion while adhering to project deadlines
3. Plan video shoots, develop schedules, manage, track and actualize production budgets
4. Scout locations, write scripts, set up/manage/produce shoots, direct talent, operate cameras, and edit segments from start to finish without significant supervision
5. Create video graphics and animation, and edit with video footage, music, and voice-over
6. Actively share work for regular feedback
7. Collaborate and work closely with internal clients and stakeholders
8. Maintain the creative vision and look and feel of videos, aligned with department/company strategies and brand guidelines and standards
9. Upload videos to the Web and Pilot Media Library
10. Maintain the company video gallery and video productions archive
11. Oversee the production of closed captions for video productions
12. Schedule off-campus video shoots and studio production time
13. Operate cameras and maintain all equipment in proper working order
14. Attends staff meetings
15. Complete other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience producing digital video content, or any combination of education and experience that is substantially equivalent to it
Demo reel required; demonstrated experience in the areas of video production, as well as a thorough knowledge of audio, video and multimedia hardware and software required
Has skills focused on stakeholder and partner management, story-telling, field producing, crew directing, research, project management, creating/managing production timelines and budgets, and overseeing post production
Experience directing and coaching on-camera talent, including executive leaders
Experience providing support in a corporate setting is required
Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
Must be available to an occasionally work a non-standard schedule in order to fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities
Specialized Knowledge
High proficiency with computers and other peripheral devices, digital video cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, and video editing hardware and software and have the ability to operate in an Apple Computer environment
Strong proficiency in camera operation and editing skills required
Must possess a strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Proficiency using software appropriate to a marketing and communications office; including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
Adobe Workfront project management experience a plus
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
