What would you do?

The Video Editor will dedicate most of their time to editing, driving engagement, and occasionally helping create digital content in support of the organization's players and content creators for T-Wolves Gaming's social platforms. This person's primary responsibility is specifically on video editing, but they will also support the team on other elements of the process, including creating video highlights, clips, podcasts, sponsored videos and more.

  1. Cut and edit raw video content collected from multiple sources into compelling social media content on platforms such as YouTube, Tik Tok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  2. Arrange and assemble content into seamless whole, using color correction, sound design, music, and graphics to make a piece of content reach its full potential .
  3. Collaborate with our Social Media team, players, and staff to develop on-trend, consistent, and high-quality video content, including completing as many revisions as needed to showcase our talent. 
  4. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency and creativity.
  5. Keep media, video projects, and deliverables meticulously organized.
  6. Has working knowledge of cameras and production is able to help capture content on a as need basis.
  7. Ability to manage their time between small and quick projects that have quick turnaround times, to being able focus and drive to bigger and larger projects.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other:

  1. Ability and willingness to be a quick learner.
  2. +3 years of video editing experience.
  3. Proficient with the entire Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  4. Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  5. Detail oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects.
  6. Ability to work well on a team and independently.
  7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with varying hours that will include evenings and weekends as needed.

 

Additional information:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience: 3 years of video editing

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibility

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically 8:00 AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. In addition to working office hours staff may work some Timberwolves and Lynx home games as well as external events including but not limited to: charity and networking events. Work is both sedentary and active in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Office lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available, and will also operate in a sports arena which includes bleachers/steps and moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, or crawl while carrying a camera device. The employee may frequently remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer, and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the building both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Travel  Position will require some travel.
