Are you passionate about driving employee engagement through an innovative, comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards philosophy. Then come and join Fortitude Re's collaborative, dynamic HR team as our VP of Total Rewards. Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will drive our total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, payroll, and wellness.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop and implement compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity awards, to attract, retain, and empower employees
  • Define compensation bands based on roles and locations that are consistent throughout the organization
  • Manage the Benefits Lead to oversee the organization's benefits programs driving for employee focused plans and incentives
  • Create recognition programs that recognize and reward employees for their contributions and performance
  • Guide the design, development, and implementation of wellness programs that promote employee health and well-being
  • Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in total rewards and regularly evaluate and recommend changes to the organization's programs to ensure they remain competitive
  • Collaborate with HR partners and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective communication and implementation of total rewards programs
  • Create internal compensation branding messaging to ensure the employees understand the components and rationale towards total compensation
What You Will Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in total rewards, with a track record of developing and implementing successful programs in fast-paced, growing organizations
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement total rewards strategies that support the organization's business goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to total rewards
The base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
