Morgan Stanley seeks a Vice President, HR Talent Solutions Lead in Human Resource Solutions. HR Solutions oversees the operational support systems and processes across Talent Management including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, learning, offboarding and employee compliance. This includes building and managing relationships with key stakeholders across HR, Technology, Compliance and Security to ensure our systems, processes and transactions are maximizing efficiency and in compliance with business requirements and government regulations.

The Talent Solutions Lead will be responsible for driving initiatives across various talent functions that implement thoughtful process, technology, and services solutions that focus on efficiency, reducing operational cost, and mitigating operational risk across the recruiting domain. This includes continuous improvement for processes already in place, designing new processes, supporting security and configuration for the Firm's various Talent Acquisition and Talent Management systems.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Partner with key stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, Corporate Security, Legal &Compliance, Corporate Services, Technology, Employee Relations and HR Business Partners) to understand business issues/requirements and propose innovative solutions that leverage process, technology, and vendor services
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve employee experience across the employee lifecycle, which includes managing the systems, vendors, and processes involved
  • Provide recommendations to HR leaders regarding process improvements, operational efficiencies, or experience enhancements.
  • Manage various talent product roadmaps and strategy
  • Juggle competing priorities and be able to successfully manage expectations with clients
  • Identify opportunities to standardize system functionality/processes across users, locations, and business areas
  • Provide oversight, direction and training for junior team members
  • Point of escalation for outsourced/vendor-managed services


Qualifications:

  • 10 years of operational experience supporting Talent Acquisition, Talent Management or Employee Experience functions
  • Prior experience in systems implementation is preferred (requirements definition, design, development, configuration, testing and go-live support)
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to identify the root-cause of issues and solve problems
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage numerous projects concurrently in a fast-changing environment
  • Team player with strong influencing skills and demonstrated ability or aptitude for team leadership
  • Experience with outsourced services and vendor management a plus
  • Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills. Advanced excel and power point skills required


Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
