Our compensation for this role depends on skillset, experience, licensure and typically falls between $16.30 and $35.00 plus on-call pay and bonus.

• Veterinary Assistant: $16.30 - $26.00
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT): $24.00 - $35.00

About the Job:  As a Veterinary Assistant you will:

• Obtain and report vitals, prioritize patient treatments, and delegate tasks
• Recognize changes in patient status and report to doctor
• Counsel owners, prepare medications and discharge patients 
• Collect samples, place IV catheters, prepare IV fluids and additives
• Calculate and administer medication, fluid additives, CRI's 

About You:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a progressive veterinary hospital setting 
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written; organizational skills; proactive thinking and a positive attitude
• The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and a commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is required
• Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in stressful situations
