Job Description
Bell Ford is looking for an Experienced Used Car Buyer. The ideal person is responsible for providing the highest quality Used Cars for our dealership. The Used Car Buyer will be responsible for negotiating, purchasing, stocking, and merchandising quality Used Cars to maximize profits.
Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm weekends as needed

Responsibilities:
- Purchase bulk cars from: auctions, vendors, private parties and rental agencies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Inspect cars to determine condition and value
- Negotiate pricing and acquire vehicles to maximize profits
- Monitor car inventory and corresponding pricing
- Utilize creative acquisition methods and financial analytics for best outcome
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of pre-owned vehicles
- Ensure proper timeline from purchase and delivery to recon and finally lot ready
- Navigate Used Car legal documents
- Maintain and update Used Car inventory management platforms
- Work closely with dealership managers during buying process
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Buyer preferably in the automotive industry
- Avid understanding of local and regional Used Car market
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong negotiation and financial analytics skills
- Proficiency with Used Car software and code of conduct
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Valid AZ driver’s license, good driving record an able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen (not including THC)
