About the Team
The USDS User Product Operations team is looking for a collaborative and motivated Operations Associate to develop best-in-class practices and processes to help improve user experience. We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative self-starter with a background in agile practices and project management who doesn’t shy from ambiguity. This person excels at communicating with diverse stakeholders and has demonstrated experience driving processes that improve user experience.
Responsibilities
The Operations Associate with work with the User Product Operations PMO as well as UPO leads to drive initiatives that streamline user support, product operations, data analytics, and user research. They will be responsible for team-wide communications strategy, and will collaborate with UPO leads in monitoring strategic initiatives and writing project updates to senior leadership. The Associate will take an active role in enabling the creation, development, and scaling of teams, and develop team-wide processes to improve efficiency and engagement. This role requires someone organized and detail-oriented, as they will lead offsite and team events planning and be responsible for team calendar management. They must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, developing strong cross-functional relationships, and succeeding in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of product/project/operations management or related experience
• Experience working in the tech industry preferred
• Proven track record of solving complex problems, operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
• Team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
• Experience working on projects involving cross-functional team collaboration
• Excellent writing, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about entertaining and short form content; knowledge of the media landscape and major trends in the industry

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $65000 - $97000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
