Summary Description: The Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Aide is responsible for working with teachers and students to help facilitate learning in the classroom. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with peers, teachers, and students, have a deep commitment to student achievement, and uphold Grow Academy school culture at all times. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Assisting and reinforcing instruction in the classroom setting Assist teacher in supervising students both in and out of the classroom Supporting the teacher in a variety of duties including small group instruction, attending to students who need special attention, grading assignments, and other duties as assigned Attend regular Professional Development with GA Teachers Assist with parent conferences/home visits as needed Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School Diploma required A. degree or equivalent preferred Familiarity with student achievement data Knowledge of different educational software such as Accelerated Learner Experience working with ELL students a plus Prior experience in a child-care center is preferred Fluency in Spanish preferred Salary: Grow Academy offers competitive compensation based on background and experience
