Summary of Job Function: The Unit Service Worker will assume responsibility for maintaining an orderly, clean, well stocked and supplied unit environment, including patient care equipment . The USA will also participate in the transfer, transport of patients. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc
Job Qualifications: High School Diploma. GED accepted. Must successfully complete MMC's relevant PCA/NA program. 3-12 months previous employment in a service-oriented position preferred, i.e. Health Care, Hotel Service, Customer Service.
