Ultrasound Technologist Sonographer

Ultrasound/ Sonographer needed!

Lets get you locked in for the new year

M-F 3p -1130p 40 hrs/week

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Certification or registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, including CT, PET scan, X-Ray, and sonography
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results accurately
- Knowledge of physiology and how it relates to imaging procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work in various settings, including the ER
