St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Ultrasound Tech for our Ultrasound Department. The Ultrasound Tech, under the direction of the Administrative Director-Radiology or authorized designee and with clinical supervision from the assigned Radiologist, the primary purpose is to perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative, in the performance of diagnostic ultrasound studies.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. Holder of a valid and current; Registration by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within 1 year of employment.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous work experience as Staff Diagnostic Medical Sonographer desired.
SKILLS:
Ability to use a variety of ultrasound producing detection, recording devices and mechanical accessories. Ability to use computers. BLS required.
