The Trauma Registrar has operational responsibility for the Trauma Registry and for ensuring that the Registry information is current, accurate and complete. This injury-related database is integral to the clinical, QI, and research activities of the trauma service. This position functions independently in the acquisition of accurate data for all patients meeting Trauma Registry inclusion criteria, as required by the state of California trauma regulations and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACSCOT).
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Related Field - Preferred
Experience:
- 2 years Healthcare - Registry - Required
- Healthcare - Trauma: Level I
- Healthcare - Trauma: Level II
- Healthcare - Emergency Department - Required
- Health Information Management - Coding - Required
Certifications/Licensures:
- CSTR Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry - The American Trauma Society - Must be Obtained within 18 months of hire
- AIS Abbreviated Injury Scale Course - AAAM Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine - Must be Obtained within 18 months of hire
Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lancet Technology TraumaOne and Microsoft Office.

Pay Range:
$37.75 - $50.96
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
