The THP Coordinator is responsible for supervision and administration of the Federal, State, and Local Housing Grants which includes a variety of programs such as TLP, RRH, and county dollars. These sites also have a variety of state and local grants that are included at these sites that need to be monitored. Services provided include transitional living apartment living for eligible youth/young adults and young parents. Responsible for management of programs services which includes: staff, client, and facility safety, maintenance of programs through understanding and compliance with licensing and certificate standards, hiring, training, and supervision of staff, interns, and volunteers.
Oversees program development and implementation of new programs, monitoring of individual participant programs, and maintenance of policies and procedures through ongoing revision and updating of staff and participant program manuals. Assures the community youth development philosophy is the basis for programming, that non-discrimination is practiced, and that diversity is celebrated. Also ensures that a positive, affirming, respectful, empowering atmosphere predominates in each house and apartment. Coordinates and leads collaborative efforts in community networking, Coordinated Entry, monitoring of grants, development and program planning, and assuring the success of collaborative endeavors within the community.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE/SKILL
- A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field is required.
- Two years of related experience is required.
- Knowledge and training in chemical dependency is a plus.
