Promote ZERO Harm for direct employees and all who work on AEP projects. Promote a healthy culture within the Energy Delivery Construction Management group as well as with other groups of AEP and business partners. Provide quality oversight of transmission construction projects via the TCRs reporting to them. Provide/support constant education/training of TCRs to improve job knowledge and growth which includes regular field visits.
Manage application access, explanation and use requirements. Work with Regional Superintendents to plan and hold regional and sub-regional meetings and learning sessions. Provide direct construction project interface with project management group, local T-Region, D-Region, and Telecom management including oversight of all scheduling of support for local capital projects. Assist Project Management on project bids/assignments and pre-construction meetings. Work with AEP Engineering, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Supply Chain, and other departments as necessary to assist and support TCRs.
Joint coordination of regional Distribution outages, local accountability of contractor caused customer outages. Supervise multiple Transmission Construction Representatives (TCR) including contract Transmission Construction Representatives. Responsible for ensuring job assignments, TCR training, participate and/or be an instructor in field and classroom/virtual training, monitoring employee productivity, maintain time keeping and organize workflow, ensure employees understand their job duties or delegated tasks, confirm QAQC is being done, adhere to environmental, safety, and switching and tagging as per AEP requirements, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with CM Managers and Superintendents on improvements within the AEP CM group and interaction with other AEP teams. Validate and approve time sheets, expenses, clothing purchases, etc.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
- Support and promote ZERO Harm working with all AEP departments and contractors both in the office and in the field.
- Provide direct Station and T-Line construction interface to local Transmission Station, Transmission Line, and Distribution management including oversight of schedules for drawings, materials, and construction for local capital projects.
- Support Outage Planning and Constructability with new project development.
- Work closely with Project Management to help facilitate project labor coverage, TCR coverage, and Safety Representation for all projects.
- Coordinate local communication of contractor caused customer outages.
- Provide coordination of daily/weekly Region work plans and keep of project high level to meet construction schedules. This involves working with manager.
- Attend regularly scheduled Region construction project status and scheduling meetings.
- Attend/call in to the monthly Engineering meetings to address issues, improvements, etc.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure successful project completions.
- Supervise Company and contract TCR's, complete TCR's annual reviews, assign TCR's to projects, coordinate/implement TCR training, coordinate TCR requests for paid overtime.
- Assist TCR's in, but not limited to, change order process, project lifecycle process, attestation adherence, FMP process, etc.
- Educate and develop TCRs
- Manage compliance in accordance with AEP Regulations.
- Support Regional Storm Restoration efforts that require CM and contractor labor support.
- Support extra duties and committees as assigned by Manager.
