Training Representative - evening shift

Responsibilities / Responsabilities:

·         Training Representative (TR) directs associates through the scheduling, planning, training, and certification processes by providing information, training, feedback, documentation, and reporting.  TR will work with the IMTWS Coordinator and team to support training needs.

·         TR is responsible for providing all required formal training to associates required to instruct courses in a classroom environment, using training resources, digital media, and e-learning.  TR will support IMTWS and business needs, provide orientation, safety courses, and similar-style training, including on-the-job training (OJT), and practical’s.

·         TR will review and update reporting, records, progression tracking, and documentation of associates.  TR will support the training lab to provide training assistance, guidance, documentation, and coaching to associates during and after the training experience.

·         TR will work with the IMTWS team to keep training reviewed and updated. TR should possess the willingness to help team members grow and develop.  When training is completed, TR recommends the trainee for certification.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Conocimiento y Habilidades)

·         Possess the ability to transfer information in a logical and organized manner in a way that facilitates learning.

·         Maintain considerable judgment to work independently and with little guidance; a flexible schedule is required.

·         Be able to provide formal instruction in a classroom environment

·         How to facilitate computer classroom setting

·         Great communication skills, public speaking, and ability to communicate with all levels of management.

·         Experience working in team-based environment and the ability to adapt to a leadership role.

·         Fluent computer skills and the software required to track records and data entry.

·         Preferred software knowledge would include: Microsoft Office (Access), Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook, SAP/CMMS, Adobe Acrobat.

·         Technical abilities and knowledge within industry systems and maintenance is preferred

Education & Experience / Educación & Experiencia:

·         2 years (+) training experience and/or 2 years (+) industry experience

·         Extensive safety training in OSHA compliance: Outreach Trainer Instructor for OSHA 10 – 30 Hour Courses; or willingness to attend and complete compliance

·         Bilingual will be preferred: English, Spanish, Creole.
