General Summary
The Training Manager will be responsible for partnering with our 24 manufacturing locations to implement a standardized approach to on-the-job training for both skilled operator roles and skilled trade roles in order to deliver against the enterprise training and development pillar.
Principal Accountabilities (list in order of importance and indicate percentage of time spent on each)
30% Work with manufacturing sites to define, develop and implement standardized OJT training programs for skilled operators and skilled trades; to include implementing programs to support skill development for hourly employees to include certification programs, apprenticeship programs, etc that are aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. 20% Support site locations to define and implement GROW program to include career pathing, pay for skill, and qualification programs and processes 20% Support execution of enterprise-wide training initiatives such as Front Line Leader training, Inclusion and Diversity activities, Operational Excellence, etc 10% Support rollout and implementation of Alchemy Coach and Playbook across the enterprise to fully leverage technology to drive the training goals. Develop governance program to oversee addition of training modules to Alchemy and working with functional leads to define required training (safety, quality, HR, etc). 10% Builds and leads an enterprise-wide training council consisting of key members of the training organization within the manufacturing network and broader supply chain 5% Partner with key stake holders to ensure training content meets the needs of the business – examples include site leadership, human resources and maintenance leaders, OpEx, etc 5% Supports other HR Supply Chain projects and initiatives as needed.

- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or by analyzing performance data
- Makes assessments of existing training programs to identify gaps and develop plans to close gaps
- Develops dashboard or scorecard to assess each locations training maturity and effectiveness
- Conducts research on new training methodologies and technologies to determine their potential application in the workplace
Job Specifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job)
- Education desired: B.S. in Business or related field such as human resources or psychology
- Years of relevant experience: 7-10 years of HR or Training & Development experience
- Strong project management skills
- Change management experience and strong communication skills
- A combination of experience, proven skills, extensive knowledge of training methodologies, and education may be considered in lieu of a degree

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$85,900-$140,800
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
